The Mets in Buffalo????

So as anyone that follows local sports is sure to know, the Cleveland Indians have ended their partnership with the Buffalo Bisons…now don’t fear, that doesn’t mean that there wont be AAA baseball in downtown, it just means that there will be a new set of players playing there.

Those players are coming from one of two teams; the New York Mets or the Toronto Blue Jays. It is looking more and more everyday that the leading candidate is going to be the Mets, for a number of reasons.

This to me would be one of the most amazing sports things to ever happen!! Being a huge Mets fan, I would be able to see my teams prospects whenever I wanted, I would get to see my teams stars come here while on rehab, and overall I would hope that we could make this town a little more diverse with the baseball fans. I mean come on does everyone need to love that other NYC team?

Deals cannot be officially announced until the 18^th so I would expect a news conference from the Bisons and their new affiliate sometime on Friday or Monday, until then just keep your fingers crossed for Mr. Met to make his way to Buffalo!!
