So as the Bills have been turning things around and getting themselves into a playoff race……the Sabres have, well been doing the exact opposite.

It seems like these two team just can’t win along side one and other. The past few years, the Sabres have been carrying Buffalo sports, and now things have shown sign of the potentail for a change. I have not been able to watch many games because of work and what not but in the games that I have had a chance to watch, the Sabres don’t look that bad. They can’t seem to get the puck in the net, and the other teams all seem to want to play old school trap hockey which sucks. The “new” NHL is supposed to be about speed and scoring but this year and the end of last year showed that the defensive style of hockey is back, and that could not be worse for the Sabres. They play a fast up tempo game and the majority of their players have little to no experience playing against the trap so this could turn into a long season. I still believe that they can turn it around and at very least make the playoffs, but as they say “it is getting really late early this year.”
