So lets get started on another fun and interesting win from our Buffalo Bills….

So the game was not the most entertaining game of the year and seemed like it was going to be one of those 9-6 games that everyone hates. That was until JP Losman came in for an injured Trent Edwards and threw an 85 yard touchdown pass to his man Lee Evans.

First I will say that the defense has been playing inspired ball lately and that is one of the only reason that this team is even near a playoff spot. Everyone on that side of the ball is playing above and beyond their true talent. I know that we are not really facing powerhouses right now but they have played stout defense against the Jets twice, the Ravens, and the Cowboys. We are facing teams with 3rd and 4th stringers out there and are keeping the team in contention to win almost every game this season.

Ok now onto what everyone is going to be talking about for…….the next few months probably because the Bills can never go controversy free for an entire year. Trent Edwards went down with a wrist injury and JP Losman came in to relieve him. JP looked like his old self and twice went downfield trying to get the big homerun shot….and guess what, he got it when Lee Evans went up and wrestled the ball away from two defenders and strolled into the end zone. I got to ask whether anyone else was thinking “Would he have fought so hard if Trent Edwards threw that ball?” Lee Evans has been the most outspoken voice when it comes to supporting JP and he definatly showed his happiness when him and JP celebrated his touchdown.

So now the Bills are faced with a tough decision coming up next week. Assuming that Trent Edwards is healthy enough to play, who gets the starting spot next week? JP came in and had two consecutive scoring drives that won this game. Trent Edwards only made one mistake in this game and only came out due to injury. JP Losman came in and did what he needs to do to be sucessful and  threw the ball downfield and let his playmakers make a play for him. Trent Edwards has been a solid starter that hasn’t lost this team a game. So now we are back to square one with two quarterbacks that can start in this league and only one spot to put them in. Should be an interesting week……
