The Sabres are killing the Islanders 5 on 5, they looked good on the powerplay and three players that need to have good season for us to succeed have scored. Go Spacek, Stafford, and Roy!!!! We need to either stop taking stupid penalties or we need to get better shorthanded play, because basically all three of their goals have come with the man advantage. The score could have been much worse for the Islanders if not for some amazing saves and some overeager passes. Ryan Miller has not really been tested that much but the goals he did let up were goals that he really had no shot on. The defense needs to clear the front of the net and let Miller make his saves and we will be alright in this game.

So since intermission is boring when I am watching the game live, I figured I would switch over to the Yanks vs Indians game and see how that game is going. What I am seeing is a swarm of bugs taking over the entire screen and watching AROD show why he will not be a Yankee next year because he just can not perform in the playoffs for that team. Carmona for the Tribe is through 9 and has only allowed one run, that kid has gone from goat to stellar ace in one year, what a difference a year can make right?  I will be back between the 2nd and 3rd periods so LETS GO SABRES!!!
