Ok so this week was a tough one for the Bills because they faced a good team, and once again lost some of their “star” athletes. JP Losman went down on the first play and then we once again lost a starting defensive player for the year. Onto the game that was…..
The Blls did actually lead this game at one point. Trent Edwards came in and looked really good the first drive, I mean really good. He led the Bills down the field and put them in position to get into the end zone, and once again the replacement for Willis McGahee was able to punch it into the endzone. Marshawn Lynch had another productive day and even though we lost the game, it is a positive sign to see him running with a purpose. That was the lone good offensive drive so now we have to talk about the defense and how ridiculously good the Patriots look.
The defense did not look good. The defense is going to look even worse now that Paul Pozluzny is out for the year. How is this team supposed to get anything going when they can’t keep players on the field. I have never seen such a rash of injuries hit one team in the first three weeks. I really can’t find anything good about the game to really talk about here, but it was fun to see John McCargo strip Tom “Wonderboy” Brady on the goal line.
The Patriots offense was able to completely dictate the flow of the game. Tom Brady is doing his best magician act in getting Randy Moss to play like the Randy Moss of old. He went through a strecth where he didn’t want to play the game and everyone got really down on him, but he was being labeled as the next great thing only a few years ago. He has a great skill set and now that he is motivated, he needs to be regarded like he was in Minnesota.
I really have nothing else I want to talk about in this post because the Bills looked really bad and the team that I love to hate looks almost unbeatable…
