Ethox International, based in Buffalo, has contracted to help develop and manufacture a non-invasive heart monitoring system invented at the University of Buffalo. The “Hickey Cardiac Monitoring System” will provide an alternative to standard treatments.
Ethox makes disposable medical products and provides lab services for life science industries. They currently employ around 200 at their Buffalo Plant, and the addition of this new product should add to that number.
Congratulations to Ethox for their effort in expanding the manufacturing base in WNY.
